Walking and Hiking Trails - Dog Friendly.
Friendship Botanic Gardens is home to a stunning variety of wildlife and diverse natural habitats. Multiple dog-friendly trails and pathways wind throughout the grounds. Visitors can choose between trails that offer challenging woodland hikes or easy walks through landscaped garden spaces. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Old Indian Trail = 3230 ft /.6 miles
The Old Indian Trail takes hikers over moderately rugged woodland hillsides and river banks, be on the lookout for wild turkeys and other wildlife on this heavily forested route.
Otter Creek Trail = 940 ft / .2 miles
The Otter Creek Trail takes visitors downhill to tranquil stream that feeds into Trail Creek. This trail is only accessible via the Old Indian Trail or the Troll Trails.
Troll Trail = 1140 ft / .2 miles
The Troll Trail is currently closed.
Path of Nations = 455 ft / .1 mile
The Path of Nations is the main entrance into the heart of Friendship Botanic Gardens. This is an easy walk for visitors who want to enjoy our lovingly cultivated formal gardens.
Friendship Path = 295 ft / .1 mile
The Friendship Path is another easy route down into FBG's formal garden pathways.
Wilderness Trail = 3725 ft /. 7 miles
Our longest trek through the gardens winds across the banks of Trail Creek before taking visitors through a steep valley of old-growth woodlands. This is an upland trail for hikers seeking a more rugged path to explore.
